The Jack and Jill Incident
Jack and Jill went up the hill But nobody really knows why That thing about a "pail of water" Was really just another lie The FairyTale people are sneaky They tell us a different version They give us our happy endings Just to create a diversion The only time they speak of this Is whispers under their breath Jack and Jill are underage And they're working those kids to death They're worried about the labor laws Trying to hide it from the man So they tell us what we want to hear It's part of their master plan I'm a FairyTale Investigator And I'm undercover, of course I lock them up and throw away the key And I never feel any remorse Even in fairytale land, it's widely known That water always runs downhill We got a tip from an inside source To check out this "Jack And Jill" We're in the middle of gathering evidence So, try not to give us away And I'll tell you how this poem turns out When I finish it - another day
