Diary of Destruction
Another day, another purpose Shall I get inside your head? And if I looked beneath my surface What once inside was good is now just dead Every time I find the meaning I play it like a game Until I hear a voice inside me screaming What’s left are lies, embrace the pain There’s nothing inside but the shards of my fall There’s nothing within me but the dream of a place I lived here for years as I built up a wall But the wall caved within me and I’ve forgotten my face Another dream, some more destruction My reflection seems to smile If I tried to satisfy your assumption I’d screw you up, destruction style There’s nothing left but the ashes of my demise There’s nothing I see but a little book of your lies To deny this now would only kill what is left I’m caught in a circle and there is nothing but theft Living for dying Dying to live I tear myself up and I’m unable to give Living or dying Dying to choose I hide myself in my room and give in to the noose If I love you I’ll kill you If I kill you I’ll die If I love you I’ll run If I’m not with you I’ll try
