Why?
Why do you kiss me, when you say there's nothing there, why do you say you love me, if you say you don't care? Why do we go along, down this narrow and bumpy lane, why do we keep this up, if we know it brings me so much pain? Why do you look into my eyes, with that look you had for me, why would you do this, if your love, you don't want me to see. Why do you take your hand and place it softly on mine, why do we keep us going, we're only making lost time? Why do I keep giving this love I have in my heart, you've had it from the beginning, right from the start. Why can't you hold me, the ways you used to do, why won't you look into my eyes, when you say "you love me too"? Though I love you with all my heart, I can't keep going on this way, giving on everything and getting nothing back, I feel this everyday. So let go of my hand and let me walk down this dark and lonely road, till you decide you can handle, me helping you carry your load.
