My Day
Washed furniture on my back porch. The sun was warm, not yet a scorch. Got an email from Randy Anderson who Said he like my poems I had sent to him. Then I made coffee and drank in my cup I got as a present for Secretary's day. Yup! Took me to lunch. Bosses loved me a bunch. Cup says a good secretary is hard to find. I was promoted with a good raise, so kind. Wrote a few poems, played Scrabble. Maybe later I will hear Bradley babble. Celine is singing to me as I write this. Daughter Michelle had surgery on wrist. Been watching the Olympics in the snow. Man, oh man, can they really go and go. Talked to my hubby on the phone earlier. Today had to be at work at 5am, so early. I was up and kissed him good bye. He will be home in an hour, oh my Does he work so hard, this week especially. When he comes in the door he will see me And Max and Eddie. We greet him at the door. My day so far has been good. Life I just adore. The present is good, future who knows. My love for God and family just grows. Tomorrow is a very special day for me. Surprises coming. Will have to wait, see.
