Once and Now--To Logan
Once i was but a whisper on the wind, the rain falling from the sky, in the darkness of night. once i was a breathy sigh, not audible in the closing croud of superstars. once i was a silent cry, invisible even in the light, to everyone; but no more. how can you see me, when i am no more, nothing was left but you glued me back together. you sang the song of my soul, how did you even know. you wiped away the drops of dew that glittered on my face, lifted me up on your pedistul. once i was an addict to my own pain, the lonelyness driving me insane. lost on my own path that i had drawn, killing myself. self destructive i had forsaken life, not knowing that love existed truly. you breath art into my lips, life into my lungs, filling me with sunshine. you took me from the crouds, pulling me into your arms for a starlit dance. you taught me graceful motion, and self preservation, you showed me love. once i was alone, a child in the night, waiting for companionship. once i was a drowning, a flower limp from rampaging emotions. i was a no one, the tiny star that was so dim, barely impacting the great sky. once i was; but no more. you took my heart, and placed it in a rose garden, beneath the silver moonlight, you kissed me. you left me not alone, weaving your love into my soul. you saw me when i saw not even myself. you saved me when i was lost, and gone to the dark. once i was hurt, but now i am being healed. once i was torn down, but you rebuild me. once i was nothing, but now i am something. once i was screaming but now i am sighing. once i was dieing but i now am living. once i was alone but i have thee. i was invisible, till you saw me.
