River Water
We all go down to the river moving past the large crowds gladiators, pushing and shoving tin cans and jugs water-skins hanging by rope on flesh all are trying to get just a small amount, other attempting much larger feats. The flaws that occur are the consumption of two much. Always desiring more then is needed. The large smorgasbord, the over-weight cake, the jug overflowing with the River's water. The insanity boils over like a pan upon the stove, a teapot, screaming in steamy agony. A small girl goes pass the chaos, pass the fancy jugs and water-skins balancing on her innocent hand a small tin cup, just small just perfect enough for her. Wading into the cool water she can feel the entire unity of everything in the cool wetness. The people's hands, feet, jugs and cups all unified, submerged in this vast ocean. Many try to gulp down, greedily abuse this commons source we all must share with each other. The child is the perfect example. Taking enough for herself, ignoring all manmade obstacles. Truly the water is much more appreciated and sweeter, cooler to her young mouth then all of their throats combined. That is true understanding of the River.
