waiting to be burned you can see that which you hold higher than any other your heart's true flame a fire burning deep waiting just to hold your heart's true flame waiting just to see that which burns so deep reaching for no other knowing you'll be burned disregarding that which burned giving up hope for any other reaching in to the fire to hold that which burns so very deep your skin burns in the flame your heart is all you can see your heart is burned your deep in the flame still tightly you hold all you can see that which burns so deep still seeing no other what is it you hold what is it you see why is it so deep why do you have to be burned will you touch the flame will you see any other can you see what you hold can you hold it in the flame how do you get so burned how can it get so deep will there be any other will it be what you see when you let go of that which you hold will it still be there burning so deep or will all that remain be the flame
