Iron Men
Iron Men Hobbes We march forward through the darkness, Our vision fades to black. Our one-tract minds carry us through, The next big heart attack. The mission is set out in stone, And we will show no fear. And God's grace be upon the man, Who stops to shed a tear. Our freedom is taken to meet, The needs of lesser men. We never waiver, don't complain, And never think again. We're naught but tools to meet the needs, Of the mastermind's will. And though we are much like machines, We are all human still. Soldiers march off to face their deaths, Their eyes as set as stone. They're told in death all of their sins, Will finally be atoned. For family, country, or for God, Its all a form of zeal. No matter how you wish to spin, You're not behind the wheel. Each man is cut from the same cloth, A modern man of steel. The thing that we seem to forget, It that they all still feel. We send them in to face the foe, They know not what's in store. We winde them up and set them off, Toy soldiers off to war.
