Does anyone see him or even care? or is it easier to just watch and stare? Did anyone ever reach out a hand? Try to be there and understand? Sometimes the smallest things go unseen, imagine to him what a friend might mean. Does it really matter how one might look? Faith in others is what they took. Poor lonely man left all alone, if only everyone else had known. The hurt and pain he feels within, I wonder where in life's he's been? Maybe he lost someone held dear, afraid to let anyone else near. Is it so bad to truly feel? I wish to know what is the deal. Everybody needs a friend, someone to confide and never pretend. So maybe I'd reach out to that lonely man, and try to do the best I can. To introduce a better way, and hope he won't be so lonely some day.
