The dance is over just look at the time
I have a dance And so do you So we could dance together My heart a hole For you to fall Losing all your feathers I can’t breathe the air of death Without the tangle of our mess Kisses of the black hole kind Loving, hugging and making us blind Make us hungry make us sad Promise to make my world so glad But when I take a grasp of time To look outside the bedroom blinds The window reflects An abyssal glare It isn’t hungry it isn’t sad It isn’t angry nor is glad The dance the two of us would do Our tangle a mess of death I thought was true that this time I wouldn’t be so blind To share a key and bed May hope come light instead Into our black and white landscape I knew it would be there A glance of hope A look at home To take my heart Where I belong Beyond the window glass so clean I saw an angel of future Look at who I was And decide to change for better.
