EMPTY APARTMENT AND MEMORIES OF OLD
Old radio plays slow jams in memory of best moments but fleeting, The vigour and splendour of youth unfolding cautiously as stars mount the skies. Dancing to the collapsed hope of a lover knows hurtful heart from staggering footsteps, Memories splashed on walls, laughter and silence hanging over my head like broken halo. thoughts heavy to let go, the candle of our last dinner committed suicide from burns of indifference. let's mourn the burning the candle and turn me into a wax man, rather let me collect feathers from the dying phoenix and weave them together. I will fly closer to the sun, and the wax from the candle will remind us of the burning and the burnt. Icuras knew better, as I am now fishing for clover in the distant milky way. Our favourite spot where we read books is a graveyard now, I go there to be haunted by all your favourite quotes, The art on these walls are a decoration of where love used to breathe and live. Now all the residues of you are on our unkept bed, on the dining table where the red wine spilled like a bleeding wound. My mouth can still spell your name like mantra when my through is filled with tears of sorrow, swallowing them is taking a poison not relive the moments again. What used to be a home now an empty shell housing loud cry. If you return one day, I will hide the key on the spot we both know And I FOLD ALL LOVE LETTERS INTO ORIGAMI UNFOLDING ALL NIGHTS SPENT IN THE DARK. COPYRIGHT BY:TSHEDISO SEROKI
