I Was D'Politician
I was D'politician I was once the hammer in this world, I was the people preacher and also the politician, I was in charge of life incarnation through teaching, I was a man of the people who had stood to wipe every one tears, And the darkness that was chasing their vocations, I had charmed them to vote me as their leader, And took promises that I could not afford to push them all: Trust me, I will sponsor your children's education, be good all, And show me your love, devotion and cast your votes to me all, If you do that to me, I will definitely stand for you To ignite fire on the debris that vile our province; but let there be patience. I had inculcated in them my love inside their core, With my pearl-words of thousand lies, During election, I had remained at home enjoying myself with my family, Meanwhile, my followers went to every nooks and crannies of our province, When they were at a village, they had used to charm the villagers: O! Our beloved villagers vote your son, He will provide job opportunities to your children, He will look after your rights, especially during time of harvesting, When herdsmen come to gobble your farms with their cattle, He will beautify your village with sophisticated infrastructure, electricity, and modern farming tools. In fact, they had said a lots about my mission and vision, They had vehemently and tirelessly campaigned for me. The election had been conducted peacefully and successfully, The representative I, I had forgotten them and the services they rendered to me. Because I had been accomplished my dreams. And some couples of months later, they did come to my office and meet with me In the government house, just to remind me about the unfulfilled-promises I had had promised, From there I had changed my face and noticed them my duplicity, And treated them like we were all passengers on board to different destinations. In our province, nobody had expected of my maltreatment to the elders, Of course, I had failed to fulfill my burden-alliance As the token was at hand, my beautiful behaviours ghost-ed away badly, The ferocious man had started confiscating their assets, farms, and animals. I had become a dictator, I was leading them powerfully and evil-deepened my ill-democracy. To cut a cake, I had battered their future dreams, And threatened anything that would make them develop, I had looted and encouraged banditry for self-gain, I had misled them and thrusted their lives in a predicament. After the couple of years, election was approaching, I had begun to face my consequences! I had contested, but they refused to vote me again, They had voted someone as their prominent figure and leader... ¶ Never trust a man by his pearl-words, though his actions¶ © Muhammad Abdulhamid kumo
