This selfish self I have become is all to me. Imagine is all that I have now. This empty shell that once was me. Gone from sight all the care I once felt. I banished it to regions I no longer acknowledge. You burnt all that I once was by the action taken. Yet I fail to blame you. For I saw what you had become and did nothing. I allowed myself to go down a path I knew nothing about. This stance I am in is that of my own mess. Bits of me is left and no longer can be repaired. To far gone is all that is left. I did nothing to stop this journey and now I pay the price.
