My Dear Children You Can Walk and Talk With God Always
Father may I walk with you? I need to spend more time. I miss the tearful mornings with you, And the Great Peace! you give my mind. My selfish desires just pull me away, But eventually it's you I miss! My Creator and Lover of my soul, And the sweetness of your kiss! Then there are the special times, When you speak to me thru your word. My mind processes thru the eyes, But my heart is where you are heard. I'd like to say how things have been, Since last, I've walked away. People have failed. Problems did come, Lord, it was exactly as you say. Rebellion at first always seems so sweet, But like bread it can become stale. Each walk with you is so satisfying, Without you, my life is hell! Dear Father God. Please forgive me again, For all the wrong things again that I do. I'm ready once again to change my direction, Father, may I please walk with you?
