Plagued by Memories, Roll Credits, a SawTooth, Lyrics
The reality be told, it was not long past, Flabbergast by an unfold from my mind’s vague vast, In reflections of the accounts of my youth, Echoes formed, all claiming to be truth. Must be fabricated, they’re so over the top, Consulted a friend, a retired old cop, He said no evidence on the inquires I’d send, Crazies, PTSD’s, false memories blend. Standing on a whale, I’m high above the blue, No deep jaws gonna eat me, I flew right through. Tossed an acorn at a mommy bear’s stare, Snowball hit a moose, wild kid without a care. Swingin’ on ropes, I’m free in the fray, Sawtooth and gators, I’m king for the day! Here’s one of those tales, exaggerated and bold, Silver Woods banks, wolves, bears untold, Left the leader’s habitat, adventurous brat, Gave battle to a sawtooth, rope and tree where I sat. Landed and watched it dash on the shore, No desire to be its gourmet meal anymore, Threw an ace, abased its face, tissue torn apart, Caught and shipped to LA Zoo, a wild kid’s heart. Sometime a little later, met that gator once more, Montages skip the review, straight to the core, Entered a room, heavy dull Mirrored door, Brownish walls stretched down to the floor. Four-foot fence, flag on the wall up high, Pool of aqua, camera catching my eye, Zookeeper fled, an uproar on the radio’s call, “I am so dead,” I said, but I stood tall. Shirt o’er its head, Alma’s the name, Deus ex machina, flipped the game, Zookeeper returned, concern in his stare, A tired kid sat on gator, no fear to spare. It snapped at his leg, dragged him away, Stabbed its eye, cursed it to pay, “Choke on your dinner, you scaly old sinner,” Broke for departure, still the wild winner. Standing on a whale, I’m high above the blue, No deep jaws gonna eat me, I flew right through. Tossed an acorn at a mommy bear’s stare, Snowball hit a moose, wild kid without a care. Swingin on ropes, I’m free in the fray, Sawtooth and gators, I’m king for the day! Standing on a whale, I’m high above the blue, No deep jaws gonna eat me, I flew right through! Tossed an acorn at a mommy bear’s stare, Snowball hit a moose, wild kid without a care. Swingin on ropes, I’m free in the fray, Sawtooth and gators, I’m king for the day!
