Chambers of the Mind
Within the skull, a labyrinth unfolds, Chambers of the mind where story molds. One room, a sunlit gallery of days, Where laughter echoes in a golden haze. Another, shadowed, holds the weight of years, Regrets like portraits blurred by silent tears. A library vast with volumes yet unread, Ideas like whispers softly overhead. A workshop hums where concepts take their form, From fleeting notions to a brewing storm. A silent sanctuary deep and still, Where intuition drinks its secret fill. And corridors that twist and turn unseen, Connecting realms of what has been and mean. Forgotten doorways sealed by time's decree, Hold memories that stir unconsciously. A grand hall waits for what the future brings, Echoing with the rustle of unseen wings. But who the architect of this strange place? Where thoughts like phantoms wander, leaving trace. Are we the keepers or the ones confined, Within these walls, the landscape of our mind? And can we truly map its hidden space, Or only glimpse the wonders and disgrace That dwell within these chambers vast and deep, Where secrets slumber and where shadows creep? ©bfa042025
