Purple Dreams In Other Realms
She sat alone, but not quite still, Her eyes caught something far beyond, Like she was waiting for a soul To share the quiet of the dawn. Her wings, though delicate, were tired, As if they’d carried dreams too long. I wondered if she still believed In things that once had felt so strong. She glanced at me with soft surprise, Like she had known I’d always come. Her lips barely moved, yet I heard The stories of the world undone. “Are you lost, or simply waiting?” I asked, unsure if she would speak. Her smile was warm, but tinged with sorrow, Like she had walked this road for weeks. “The world is full of restless dreams,” She said, her voice a fading song, “Some of us just stay behind, To help the ones who don’t belong.” I stood beside her, waiting too, For something I could never name. And in her eyes, I saw the truth— That dreams are never just the same.
