two sides to every coin sometimes, the head speaks while the tail roars twisted by the pain tales of their fame an infamous villain sent to the stockade Tales told, and evils sold A penchant for vengeance Minded by spite, and grounded in hate You'll hear the story just a few years too late Heads determined to seek recompense at slights imagined, and time spent A fury at circumstance with cries of hardship wrought but only one side of this story Were you taught Trading tales, the currency of fools Fortuna, does she not favour the bold? Gossip and drama, a Zero-sum game The noise an empty claim to fame Did I wrong, did I err? Did I drown in drunken stupor? All this is true, and yet more tales of my benders are true for sure But only one side of this story were you taught if you ever find your mind slipping away when deadly misfortune comes to prey friends turning away, to the tune of spite hearing tales of the evil you've wrought and one by one, they break your heart Remember it's predictable as the light follows dark Heads determined to seek recompense at slights imagined, and time spent A fury at circumstance with cries of hardship wrought but only one side of this story Were you taught
