Moonlight
I wonder what it would be like if I gave you a kiss under the moonlight. I wonder what it would be like if I gave you a peck under the starlight. Would you kiss me back with a love that burns as strong as mine? Would you hold me close Even after it's midnight? I wonder what it would be like if you had said "yes" that one time. I wonder what it would be like if you didn't walk away before my eyes. Did I do something wrong? Did I not declare my love enough? Even if I did, Would you have still left me, For the One across the sea? I wonder what it would be like if I hadn't met you at all Would I still cry so late at night? if I stopped myself from loving you Would I still have my heart? Please tell me, My beautiful angel, that it wasn't just a lie. Tell me you think of me too, and see my face when you close your eyes. Hold my hand, when the path gets a little rough. Look into my eyes, and say you love me even if it's a lie, all under the cold moonlight. Moonlight, light the way forward, so I cannot cry and cannot breathe, so I'll never remember, the love I had for thee.
