They say that what the eyes don’t see, the heart doesn’t feel. I would have more peace if I were blind, because I would never see war. I would choose a true woman, not based on her physical beauty, but on her feelings and her way of being. If I were blind, I wouldn't see the sky, but I would hear better the sound of the waves rushing to the shore, like the sound of a crowd singing a beautiful song. I wouldn’t see the fish and the shellfish, but I would better feel their taste. I wouldn’t see the rain falling on the earth, but I would better smell the scent of fresh soil the next day, and carry in my hands the jubilant mushrooms.
