When fate`s hand was close by her side After fourteen long lengthy years She opted for her kennel`s pride Than inside the home to shed tears; Though meted out a surgery With thirty stiTches without cry She was beyond recovery And passed away without a sigh; Her funeral, a sheer glory, And her grave on a high-pitched land Was a match to her loyalty Glimmering brighter than a man. Gone she`s with the family`s heart Like a jar shattered in fragments Like a piece of rag torn apart, Such to her was our attachment; Let fidelity be your name So dedicated was your love, Ever adored would be your fame With your loyalty miles above.
