#294 Farther Through Tonight
Farther through tonight Within the heartbeat of sacred emotion Loneliness whispers to the silent stillness I miss this hour with you my love As time spills forth in moments A lingering thief of passion Together we touched to spare the soul of dignity Only pain is left in residence. ~ I push my thoughts to the memory of you As I smooth across your sun washed skin Through your abounding blossoms of moonlit hair Still, the faltering wind blows Incessant seeping's of disparity As midnight holds in nullity Seclusion embraces the tear of remembrance With a soft and genteel kiss. ~ Together did we caress the night Within the darkness to light the moon Yet here I sit, alone Blanketed within the void, nowhere I long to feel the tender softness The beating of your heart To shake the stillness of silence Farther through tonight.
