Eyes in my hair, there’s so little air, that my nose is the only thing blowing! II I once had a job, but my wages were robbed by the Government’s taxing equation! So, the bankers foreclosed taking even my clothes blaming the Cherokee Indian Nation! III The radio wave and the music it plays remembering the songs of my youth, and the lyrics somehow reveal to me now that lies sometimes become truth! IV Recording memories passing-by the camera lens becomes our eye. Images captured, then stored away fading, like the secrets of our lives– and Jon Benet! V The birth of a child, a gift from above, securely held by a mother’s love. To be taken away, what torture and pain! I never saw my mother, my eyes forever clouded by the rain. VI Look into the faces, see the scars of loneliness and pain, behind the eyes, distant, empty images with no names. What mysteries could be unveiled if only their trust could be held? But, faith struggles with rejection and caution says don’t go near. Yet, we turn for one more glance only to see a reflection, gazing from the mirror! VII If I had all the riches that this world could give, if for a million years I had the chance to live, and if I were the King of all earthly thrones, it would not be enough to calm the fear of dying all alone.
