Like being the deep music, That tells her all will be alright, Whenever she awakes hysterically from the terrors of the night! Like being that loud car alarm, That rings out boisterous within your ears, To protect you from those little boys that tries to whisper to you; thinking that Dad is not there! Like being the great mountain, That rises in her heart And shows her the way back home if all else falls apart! Like being a New York taxi cab driver, That at times are hard to understand and sometimes difficult to catch, But Dad’s job as the driver in his daughter(s) life is to keep her on the ride tracks! Like giving her the love That is equivalent to Earth’s sea and air, So diving deep or soaring high she’ll never lose sight of him because he’ll always be right there! Always remember that a Dad is truly a person Who is loving and kind, And often he knows whats is on his child(s) minds! He's someone who listens, Suggests, and defends, And dad can also be one of your very best friends! He's proud of your triumphs, but when things go wrong, A dad can showcase his patience while being caring, helpful, & strong! In all that you do, A dad's love plays a huge part.
