I think I'm dying,,,
Heh, I think I’m dying.. But that’s ok! I always bounce back. “No, not this time.” But.. I’m supposed to save people, and care for them! That’s my job!.. “Now your job is to be dead.” Oh no.. No, I can do this! I can.. “Really?” I mean..I hope so! “Then you can.” Really? “Just kidding!” “You are not a hero, Eli.” But..I try to be.. “You are nothing but a kid.” “You are not able to save everyone.” I need to though! That’s why I’m here! “No. Your only job is to be a kid.” I’ve already seen and done too much.. I’m no longer a kid.. “You are still a kid.” “No matter what you went through, you are a kid.” I..I’ve witnessed things I shouldn’t have! I saved people from suicide, I lost people to killing themselves.. I’ve been exposed to things no kid should be exposed to.. “That doesn’t matter. You are still young. You can still experience normal things kids your age do.” Really..? “Really. You do not need to save everyone.” “You *must* focus on yourself. Let yourself be young.” But I’m supposed to be a hero.. I’m supposed to save others.. “Stop believing that. No matter what you’ve been told, You.are.a.*child*. You deserve to have your innocence for a while longer. *You* are supposed to be taken care of. Not you taking care of *others*.” I..I’m sorry.. “Don’t apologize. You do not have to be sorry for anything.” I’m sorry, I’m sorry.. “No need to apologize. You are supposed to be taken care of, do not think the opposite.” O..only one person has taken care of me besides my family.. and now they won’t anymore.. “I’m sorry. You deserve to be loved. You deserve to be cared for.” Really..? “Yes. You deserve love. You deserve care. You deserve protection. You deserve happiness. You deserve *everything*.” Everything..? “Every good thing that exists. *You* deserve it all the most. You deserve to feel safe. You deserve to be happy, protected, cared for, and most importantly: *you deserve to be loved. Loved as much as you love. Cared for as much as you care. You deserve the same amount of attention that you give to those you love. Never think otherwise*.” ..Thank you.. “Do not thank me. There is no need.” I need a hug.. Can you give me a hug..? “I am sorry. I am not real. I am someone who you wish was telling you this. I unfortunately do not exist. I am only in your head.” Oh.. “I must go now. Remember what I have told you. Goodbye.” Bye bye.. Thank you.. “...”
