Wrong Night
The stars are not so bright In this eerie moonlit night. The wind is calm, the night is still On the air anticipation is a thrill. I walk into the ancient graveyard And see all the headstones scarred. I know that I should not be here But I want to show I have no fear. The wind begins to howl Hoping it is just an owl. Goosebumps rise upon my skin. My face has lost its happy grin. My hair begins to stand on end I turn as I begin to comprehend That I am not alone here. Oh please please be a peer. Oh my no one heard that prayer As I see a ghostly apparition there. Pale and transparent and rising My fear there is no disguising. I start to let out several screams But my mouth can't open it seems. The ghost moves towards me Oh lord how I need to pee! It begins to quietly beckon It wants me to follow I reckon. I begin to languidly follow My fear I do so swallow. Big mistake! I start to shake. Standing before me Is a ghostly sea. So many many ghosts My body they beg to hosts Their ghastly essence And demand acquiescence. I picked the wrong night To prove I have no fright. Ghosts have me locked inside My mind as my body I am denied. Forever trapped in my mind These entities shall always find A way to forever roll And steal your very soul!
