A Whisper in Devil's Ear
An outcry from the populace, amongst them a diabolic menace, appealing to their weaker sense, under every kind of false pretense - What could they do? The devil may whisper, or he may purr. He knows the temptations we prefer. Yes, that's true, but all the same, we can beat Lucifer at his game. Let's set a trap! "You have cute horns and a tail, I know some poor suckers, weak and frail. In the darkness, follow me - their despair, a glorious sight to see." Good plan - will it work? Yep, he plunged, all right, through a trapdoor, into a cage of light where folks could now keep an eye on that unscrupulous, dangerous guy. He "fell" for it! Sure, they could intercept him, but do you think a mere cage kept him? He's still lurking at large. We must be vigilant. Don't put him in charge. Watch out!
