tommy the halloween baby
Tom was a Halloween baby, so we expected him to have magical powers. We ran off to see him in the nursery, but it was over visiting hours. He waved his little fist and the lights overhead began to sizzle and blink. Our godson was really something; at six hours old, he gave us a wink. We bought him a wizard hat with stars, and a flashy black cape. Tommy is too young to go trick-or-treating, said his brother Nape. We brought you a ghost outfit we told him, handing him a sheet. He did not like this half as much as the chocolate Hershey bar treat. Ghosts, goblins, and ghouls came to see the baby at two we were told. They passed him around, but mother chased them away with a scold. Babies like Tommy have magical super powers. as born on Halloween. As his chosen mama, she was his guardian, and the family queen.
