At eleven I just wanted to say goodbye. I was tired… Tired of living what felt like a lie. I put on a smile when deep down I was broken, Just so that you wouldn't see the darkness.. That had been spoken. At thirteen I had a dream… A dream to stay where I was and graduate… Graduate with my friends who I had known all my life. But that dream didn't complete. That dream was deplete. At fifteen, I lost it… I lost it all… I lost my hope I quit trying to stand tall. I broke. That's when the words were spoken. Denied Access to the afterlife, For this is not your time. Denied Access to the afterlife, For you have so much more. Denied Access to the afterlife, You need to see what's in store. At seventeen, I started to see the light I started to realize that life, Life was just alright. At eighteen, I needed that help again Saying goodbye felt like home Heaven was a place I’d always known. But at eighteen, I was told. Denied Access to the afterlife, For the plans shall unfold. Denied Access to the afterlife, For I have an angel to mold. Denied Access to the afterlife, You need to see the person you are foretold. Soon I'll be nineteen, reaching for my dreams. Yes, my life was difficult, but it seems, The struggles I saw and the pain that I felt. Was to build me up, Not to shut me down. Goodbye is not the answer. Hello is what should be told. I have been denied Access to the afterlife. And thank God it was that way. The world needed me to stay.
