Constantly she calls me telling me what he's doing to her and sometimes it's a secret I cannot keep because he's slowly killing her. She loves him oh so much... there used to be a time where he was gentle and never touched her to hurt but now it seems like all he's doing is beating her. I worry about her so much because in her mind he's doing the right thing... but in reality her voice gets weaker each time I talk to her. She used to be my best friend, her soul filled with light before she met him. He's changed her, rearranged her into a person that I can't even see anymore. We went from being as close as can be to never seeing each other because he thought that I was talking bad about him. I can't understand her devotion and most of the time I worry if she's ok or not. I haven't gotten a call in about 1 month from her and now it seems like years since we've talked... the dail tone is fading and all you can hear is the operator saying hang up and dail again. Each time I hear the answering machine the recording plays the voice of a girl that I can barely imagine anymore. It's been light years since she's been that innocent, been that happy, it's been a while since she's been real. I miss her.
