Many words left unsaid, as you were gone, Your presence lingers, your spirit strong, In every star, in every breeze, I feel your true love, it never leaves. I miss your voice, your laughter’s sound, The way you’d turn the world around, Your guiding words, your gentle care, Whatsoever it be, you were always there. In my dreams, I walk with you once more, Through well lit fields on timeless shores, We talk of life, of joys and pain, And I find peace in your embrace again. They say time can heal, yet it can’t erase, The longing for your warm embrace, Yet in my heart, you’ll always stay, A beacon of light, my guiding ray. I see you in the morning bright, In the stars twinkling through the night, In every step, in every sigh, A part of you is always nigh. Hence here’s to you, my dearest dad, For all the love and good times we had, As you’ve moved on, in realms above, You left us with your endless love. In every tear, in every smile, You are with me through every mile, One day will meet in heaven’s view, Holding my love in abundance for you. © Dr Upma A. Sharma Written Aug 2, 2024
