who should we be
transportation doesn't always take us anywhere that 'getting away from it all' yet you're there at the end of the journey a burden to yourself like a bad penny yet on occasion, I arrive recently, there was a moment in the woods there was a storm on the way but the dog needed a walk before it hit I felt the need to linger with the energy like getting soaked through was innately craved I sat as big slow rain drops fell feeling an incredible connection to the ground then I left worried I couldn't explain myself if I just stood out in it the moment before a crescendo maybe that's what it was perhaps I was surrounded by an invisible coven of witches or something of myself I'd left in the ether wanting to get back in who knows if we need the lightning strike as our spark of being I don't know what humanity is it's too big a question the knowledge of not knowing feels the closest I'll ever be
