Walk life like a cat
Form - Free Verse (Written my way) Poetry Contest-Constance La France, Theme 2. Life. *A pregnant or nursing cat is called Queen. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- “Cats live for the sensation of life, not for something they might achieve or not achieve” Quote by- John Gray have you ever seen a Queen* play with her kittens a show of affection a show of sincere love one should learn to share equally like her ... a bundle of joy holding grooming her tiny bundles of joy to her heart’s content she is unmindful of world around focused to keep her healthy kittens clean, at ease, pleased to embrace them all in singular swoop… four weeks of age look at those beautiful littermates learning to groom, licking, chewing their own paws .... practicing their skills on their loving mother pinning down another to groom again and over squatting wobbly to reach their own fluffy tails they fall over one another like flowers world can wait and wait for them again and they start to play… a thread a wool a ball a feather a toy a spot of torch-light a tinkling bell a door curtain to climb crumpled paper ball a dimpled chair ... stalking, pouncing, riding, playing Tai Chi and Zen seems silly while getting ready as though to catch something a cardboard box holds so much joy to them gets them so madly excited – mad like a girl gifted with loads of diamonds the box gives way it can’t take so much beating four naughty kittens and a heavy mother jumping on it, jumping in it, jumping through it is enough to tear away the box to pieces peace descends on one and all as the box is taken away… useful by being useless there they are tiny hearts beating joy- were you ever happy like them ? mysterious aura surrounds them, agile, patient, cautious, quiet and calm are they with mother with littermates they never ever lose the joy of life...
