If she smiles, with grace and distance, as only a few understand to do, I'll tell her that her gaze is like the echo of a lost forest, once cut down, And I'll navigate through this ocean of metaphors, where each wave is a sad song of melancholy, Searching for that long-lost forest in vain, unaware that it has faded over time. I would have wished not to meet her, but to feel that she exists, that blue winds sway upon the branches, And in this journey of thoughts, I will beg her to forgive me, with sadness, I'll try to leave with gentle steps, but my steps will be heavy as lead, We will unite our paths towards the future, creating a wonderful story of longing, shrouded in mystery. Turning back to the past, to childhood, I will speak to her of distant worlds, Of the roar of the sea, of the warmth of the stars, and I will feel how words become bridges to other realms, And slowly, when we are far from the world, alone, we will let ourselves be carried by the waves of memories, When she admits that there is no one with us, then, I don't know what I will say, I don't know what will follow. But here I will stand, in the garden of memories, waiting in silence, Until she passes, in white attire, beside me, like a ghost of the past.
