Here I am Send me Isaiah 6:8 conclusion
Just as Hannah dedicated her son, Samuel to the LORD, the LORD God also selected Isaiah to himself. Then I heard the voice of the LORD saying, "Whom should I send? And who will go for us?" He said,"Here I am. Send me!" Isaiah 6:8 Hannah dedicates Samuel 1:24-28 conclusion After he was weaned, she took the boy with her, young as he was, along with a three-year-old bull, an ephah of flour and a skin of wine, and brought it to the house of the LORD at Shiloh. When they had slaughtered the bull, they brought the boy to Eli, and she said to him,"As surely as you live, my lord, I am the woman who stood here beside you praying to the LORD. I prayed for this child, and the LORD granted me what I asked of him. So now I give him to the LORD. For his whole life he will be given to the LORD" And he worshiped the LORD there. (After Hannah's prayer) Elkanah (her husband) went home to Ramah, but the boy ministered before the LORD under Eli the priest. Samual 1:11 This concludes the mini series inspired by Isaiah 6:8; however, under this newest mini-series it deals with: Samuel, Eli and his two sons, Hophni and Phinehas and the Philistines, but does not deal with Saul, the first king, anointed by Samuel over the house of Israel. There are many wicked people in the world today that erroneously believe that they have totally free license to sin--and that they can get away with it- by esca- ping the judgment of the LORD. We are currently living the last days of the church age, and thus we are also living in Bible times. This series is about the judgments of the LORD upon a family of priests living a wicked rebellious life style. And: what happened to them, the Ark of the Covenant and the Philistines that captured it. But, it does not mention Israel, asking God for a king. This entire mini series is self contain ed inside one OLD Testament book--the book of 1 Samuel. The House that Eli, the Priest of the LORD, This carries into my newest series about them and God's judgment! Eli's Wicked Sons 1 Samuel 2:12-14 (part one) Eli's sons were wicked men; they had no regard for the LORD. Now it was the practice of the priests, with the people that whenever anyone offered a sacrificed and while the meat was being boiled, the servant of the priest would come with a three-pronged fork in his hand. He would plunge it into the pan or kettle or cald ron or pot, and the priest would take for himself whatever the fork brought up. Roxy Lea 1954 7/10 & 12/1924
