I'm clearly hiding something Cold tea in my stomach is the mood I'm not sure how I swallowed either down You don't feel buoyant weighted with cold tea Maybe you can imagine that? There's a sense of melancholic regret that feels intangible That you want to shake off as not mattering because it doesn't, right? I wish it was as simple as the box says: Freshly drawn boiled water Brew for 3 minutes Add milk to taste Sometimes it is and my comfort is in this cup But the china feels cold and sterile The whole process unsoothing The mood sits in my stomach without a technique that uses the same tools and ingredients to result in a different outcome There are definitely options But I'm a bit weighed down with my choices to think them through Tea will soothe me again I'll forget And it's not tea's fault that I drank it cold I just need to forget Shake it off It's not important after all
