Women around the world
To grow up was said to be wonderful thing, i look the mirror with new eyes and a harted of my own skin, a girl who once said beauty did not matter, listened to the words of others that made her heart shatter, it cut so deep she lost sight her vision blurred, of what it means to be loved and to be seen and not unheard, a young girl watched others starve themselves and grow frail, all to please the eyes and minds of men’s fairytales, i see myself in the eyes of little girls that cry, Somehow i have learnt to love myself as years go by, this not a poem but a message to all those that read, remember your self value and that is all you need, you will never be enough, never pretty enough, never smart enough, to please someone that does not love you.
