Begin My Fall
I remember every word, and what they meant. Goodbye so absurd, though I get the hint. The years we've lost, we cannot redo. This was love's cost, yet sorrow's not new. I ran so far, I ran away. I swim the stars, for you cannot stay. Have we grown, over these years? The heartbreaks shown, through painful tears. Where have they gone, what are we running from? I solemnly moved on, yet I wait for you to come. I saw you, as you passed me by. Are we really through, was that an honest goodbye? Our hearts became one, but was torn away. I sorrowfully run, to die alone one day. You walked away from me, from us all. I consume animosity, and begin my fall. Everything we once loved, has died or moved on. You were once my beloved, but now you're gone. If this isn't love, how do I get out? Is it what I dreamnt of, for I still have doubt. So many miles away, could you hear my voice. Nothing left to say, about your choice. I don't hate you, I just want to be alone. This day so blue, for misery is shown. I walk on wounds, which become scars. These haunting tunes, have my heart behind bars. This fight is done, I've lost my war. I can no longer run, for I'm too sore. Think me naive, as I lay down and die. What should I believe, as I'm left to cry? That's what I get, when I play with fire. The flames were lit, on deaths pyre. This love doesn't fit, when I'm dealing with a liar...
