In the vast world, I am the leaf among winds, the undecided alignment of fate
In the vast world, I am the leaf among winds, the undecided alignment of fate, Astonished by myself in the mirror of the moment, disappointed by the foam of sinuous days. Satisfaction and pain dance in my chest, a waltz of fallen angels. I am the sum of all states, a book with missing pages, and the total remains unknown. In my boundless heart, a symphony of uncertainty sings, Without measure of strength or worthlessness, no scale can weigh my ever-wandering being. I have known it all, and yet I know nothing, thus speaks each sunrise and sunset. I have no creed to shield me, nor certainty to anchor me, on this ocean of the unknown. Only birth and existence are known to me: that I am, that I breathe, that I still possess... I feel like a leaf carried by the waters, without cause or course that I can foresee. I live! And so much fulfills itself upon a hidden, devouring foundation, In leaves of fate that carry me through them, with all the force of an unsung song. What am I, in this trembling balance between being and not being, where stars bid farewell, When no astrolabe can decide the course of the heart on the sea of rippling forgetfulness? The winds of the wayward path are more familiar to me than my own chant, My soul is a temple of endless searches, painted in colors of hope and restlessness.
