REMEMBERING MOM
It’s a tradition observed in families around this time every year: We prepare to celebrate our mothers…as Mother’s Day draws near For some it’s a day of happiness…as we celebrate our mothers with flowers, candy…we might take them out to eat this year! but for others…it’s a day of mixed emotions… remembering mothers no longer here. Which means…we’re happy remembering our mothers… Happy she’s been given her own day Happy she was in our life…but sad she’s passed away. We are happy for having known her Grateful for the home she worked so hard to make… Happy for all the memories she gave us but sad for all the memories…she won’t be here to make. Sad she’s no longer with us… Sad there our new family members she will never get to meet. Sad she cannot receive our calls…our gifts… that we can no longer take her out to eat. It’s why for some of us the only way we can celebrate Mother’s Day as we move on from year to year is by remembering our mothers… with a smile and a tear.
