When I think of you
When I think of you, a memory awaits. So deep within me that walls crumble at the sheer force of your gaze. When I think of you, a sweet smell arrives. Like fresh baked buns or the odor of fresh flowers lingering in the air in spring. When I think of you, nostalgia clings to me for a sore sight that shall never be viewed again. (Or was never seen in the first place.) When I think of you, an emptiness like no other takes my hand where you should be. When I think of you, I remember I have not met you yet and a tingling feeling takes place in my belly. When I think of you, a path appears of new adventures and meets. I search longingly for you to find me and me to find you. When I think of you, my smile fades and longing takes hold. I have found home
