Birds With The Best Voices
“We are all born to fly. Instead, we sit on the branches, afraid to sing or leap into the unknown. But the unknown is where enlightenment and creativity live. Our true nature is the unknown.” Erza Vita ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Sometimes my hands tremble at the sight of a blank screen, my ears trying to ignore the screams emanating from the smooth white surface waiting to be filled in. "give yourself time" "there's no rush" "we support you, in whatever it is you do," the words say. The line between wanting to be perfect and wanting to be recklessly imperfect has blurred a little more, and I find myself numb, paralyzed by the plethora of choices before me. The universe has given me all the stars to gaze at but my eyes are polluted. I have all the tools but I suddenly can't feel my hands, my mind runs a thousand miles per second. My hands and fingers stay at one place, waiting, waiting, and waiting for something that may never happen. They say if only the birds with the best voices sang, the forest would be silent.
