Gift
A seal torn open Sentimental drops onto once delicate fingers, piercing colors to glint, hidden treasure. A forgotten token, a rush of memories between the ears Once wide-eyed, attention to wise lips, "Hand these to your chosen everlasting." Jewels of wisdom, an affectionate offering, for I am sorry, once precious one. I have returned home to finally lay down the ghost, only to stumble across your sweetheart's gift. "I am yet to find my other, dear aunt." With blame at one's feet. Within these walls, echoes remain every corner answers creep. For it is here, dear Aunt, I have returned to uncover the mysteries of torment that has plagued through the years, but your old offering brings a new. I'll continue this pursuit with strength to endure, as whomever the jewels deem worthy will usher the light, harden the heart, and protect the mind to hopefully heal our family troubles once and for all.
