Long ago
Wish I could write a song Telling you I have loved you for so long. But the words keep getting stuck in my head Telling you how much you meant to me I close my eyes Time flies Only thing I see is you Without you I feel so blue Though you have been gone all these years I think of you so starts the tears Our time did not last long enough So now my days are rough Still I think about the times we had Cannot help feeling a little sad Miss you so very much Your sweet loving touch I can still see your smile Though It has been a long while You were just my style Tears fall from my eye Like raindrops falling from the sky Now when I think of you. The world turns blue Miss you so much today Still I know not what to say How long it has been I cannot remember when I felt the love you had shown Now it is another night on my own So many days In so many ways The sadness does attack Oh how I want you back But the Lord above Needed the one I loved Took you away from me Now all I can see Is the memories of holding tight It felt so right Wish I could hold once more Closed is that door But I will see you again, when to heaven I soar
