There’s a fault line everywhere I stand. When the guards come pull me from the dark. You sanctify the earth that’s in your mind, I’m not giving up, I know it’s right, you sanctify the colors in my mind. And I just got this feelin', don't know what it means, so promise as you go, I know that you'll leave. What if it doesn’t get better with time and I’m still alone? As I pass on to those white gates, I just couldn’t tell I was living in Hell. I’m laying motionless. Where you used to rest your head, lying awake in bed feeling the spot on my chest. Shrinking our worth, mixing fiction with crime like a substance. It’s like a light that slowly dies. Love a vampire. Put my pain in a pill, I’ll swallow it. Raise a glass of wine for the last time. Your blood should run cold, so cold. And when their bones decay, in dust they’ll float away. I sleep to hear the lullaby. Don’t go, please find me in my dreams. I must be out of my mind, I try to find a purpose in life but I’m better off dead. Followed your ghost through the moonlight. You got my little black heart and it’s dying in your hands. As the whole world burns, it’s so beautiful. Everything around me’s changed and of course it had to start with losing you. Was I wrong to put you first? To compromise has never been a strength of mine. You can take a chance and let it slip away..
