Darkness
I am less frightened when you are around me in pitch black. When you are in, like a rat before a cat, I'm anguished. I feel like I turn into a predator and attack My very self, and terrorize it till it gets vanquished. I see, my thoughts, like a thousand serpents, stand furious. They spray the deadly venom of pessimism. I am gone. To act upon my impulses, my mind gets curious. With or without purposeful intent, I am all alone. Am I thrown into a hell where evil each deed insists? Have the virtues and values I learned now gone to waste? Where and where alone does truth, like the purest nectar, exist? When will I be, with the basking of the brightest spring sun, graced? It's my prayer to you, dear darkness, to touch the physique well. Do not pull any soul of a being towards the hell
