Reunited
Some hearts will go on, Braving the storms, the pain, Even though you’re gone, You’re there in ways I can’t explain. Some of those who believe, Will speak of you with a smile, Laughing, even though they grieve, You were here such a short while. Some will let the tears flow, Resting on their cheeks, their souls, Breathing light that shall always glow, Recalling the love that consoles. Some of those who loved you, They will always remember, Because, through and through, You were gentle as December. Some hearts will reflect on the hope, When we meet up there, in the sky, Filled with wonder, signs we can cope, Since we know the One who cannot die. Some of those who grieve the worst, Keep your memory alive, with their tears, Your light was just like the star’s burst, Reflecting joy that never forgets those years. Some who loved you will breath a prayer, Whispering to Jesus, who you’re meeting, Aching for comfort for those who share… This grief - because your life was fleeting. I believe you knew that you were adored, And that everyone would miss you so much, But, dear Denise, I’m so glad you knew the Lord, Who came to silence your pain with His touch. Those who will miss you will never again… See the smile that heaven gained – When your angel’s wings you did attain, Even though His purposes can’t be explained. When we meet you one day in the morrow, Know that our hearts will be excited, By the beautiful that is sure to heal our sorrow, When we’re together up there, reunited!
