There Is So Much Life At a Graveyard
There is so much life at a graveyard the wind howls the trees bow pines sprinkle upon the ground dust is kicked and moved mounds pile to the sky birds keep subtle watch guards at a silent prison There is so much life at a graveyard the Tombstone grey and worn The tombstone maker sweat carved into hewn rock the names of the living dead etched forever to be read People from all background all ages all faiths all political creeds all together A dead UN A dead smorgussborg a dead farmer's market a dead hotel There is so much life at a graveyard Down below the dirty dust depths Lies the body bloated and blistered decomposing why do we call Maggots, Death It is new life born out of death and decay a cycle, that is endless forever living and changing dust to dust, back to Mother Earth we all go together everyone everything eventually The End Or is it? There is so much life at a graveyard
