When I decided to run away, I felt free for a few seconds, I felt hopeful about the future, I felt like I could find someone to take proper care of me. But then I heard the lonely cry of my owner calling my name. As lonely and starved I feel, I couldn't shake the feeling that leaving was a mistake. He loves me. He pets me. He hugs and kisses me.
