In the silence of the night, I lose myself in deep memories
In the silence of the night, I lose myself in deep memories, Dreaming of the women with whom I would have shared secrets and songs, With quiet steps, on lanes shaded by ancient oaks, Searching for those bonds, those sacred and endless friendships. Where are those women, with eyes full of untold stories, With whom I would have shared memories, during the long winter evenings? Laughing and joking, with glasses of red wine in hand, Where are my sisters, with whom fate did not join me? Deep in my heart, I feel a heavy melancholy, Thinking of the women who would have known me, would have understood me. In this vast and mysterious world, Where are their names, those souls with whom I would have danced in the rain? I wonder, where are those connections lost in time, The women with whom I would have shared dreams and hopes? In this world full of unanswered questions, Where are their names, my soul sisters, whom I never knew?
